Voita Pannulle, translating to "Butter to the Pan," is an engaging social media venture created by a dynamic duo passionate about cooking. They specialize in crafting simple, delicious recipes and transforming them into visually appealing videos shared on Instagram and TikTok. As a graphic designer, I was entrusted with developing a comprehensive branding solution that resonates with their culinary philosophy and appeals to a broad social media audience.
Tasked with creating a visual identity that complements the warmth and accessibility of Voita Pannulle’s content, I designed a distinctive logo, a suite of brand assets, and versatile video templates. These elements were essential in establishing a cohesive and recognizable brand presence across various digital platforms.
Helsinki Creators is an innovative event concept designed to foster networking among creative professionals in Helsinki. I was approached by a former colleague to develop a brand identity that would resonate with the creative community and facilitate an engaging and inclusive atmosphere for these networking events.
My role in this project was comprehensive, involving the creation of a distinctive logo, the development of a photography style guide, the selection of a cohesive color palette, and the design of a T-shirt layout for event attendees. These elements were crucial in crafting a strong and recognizable brand identity for Helsinki Creators.
Banana Skateboards is an skate crew formed by group of friends. I wanted to elevate their identity and cohesion by adopting a more professional team appearance by creating T-shirt graphics. I developed designs that cleverly incorporate their group name into parodies of famous logos, enhancing their visibility and unity as a skate team.
My primary responsibility was to design a series of T-shirt graphics that would resonate with the group’s playful and rebellious spirit. The challenge was to creatively adapt well-known logos to include "Banana Skateboards," ensuring the designs remained fun, recognizable, and legal under parody and fair use laws.
Monsp Records, a Finnish record label renowned for its focus on underground rap, launched a logo redesign competition to refresh their brand identity. I participated in this contest with the goal of creating a logo that not only modernized the label's image but also preserved its gritty, underground roots.
As a participant, my challenge was to reimagine the Monsp Records logo in a way that reflected both the innovative spirit of the music they produce and the label's established reputation. My design aimed to strike a balance between contemporary aesthetics and the label's authentic underground ethos.
